Happy Saturday people! Today’s blog post is all about a recent collaboration I worked on to decorate a beautiful wedding cake with my flowers… oh yes that’s right cake & pretty flowers… you’re welcome…
First to introduce you to my collaboration partner, the lovely Cat from The Teatime Treatery. Cat is a good friend of mine & this isn’t the first time we have worked together having collaborated to create a Christmas craft & afternoon tea extravaganza – see pic below – & we also worked on the same wedding for Claire & Ben, although not the same cake that time!
Not only does Cat make the most delicious cakes – seriously yummy – she’s also a lovely human being & an absolutely perfectionist so if you’re looking for cake for any occasion I can’t recommend her highly enough! Cat also made the cake for our wedding that our gingerbread house sat on… mmm it’s making me hungry just thinking about it!
When 1 of Cat’s couples were looking for something a little different for their wedding cake she kindly thought of me & got in touch to see if I could make some flowers to adorn her beautiful cake creation & of course I said hell yeah!
It was going to be a naked cake with a rustic, country theme so I worked with pastel colours & added leather leaves for a little something extra. The finished outcome looked fab, Cat styled them perfectly & I hope we get to work together again soon!
I’ve popped the set of 3 flower clusters in my etsy shop which can be customised to your cake or wedding scheme. So if you’re looking for something pretty to add to your celebration cake do go & check them out!
Of course if you need cake too, drop me a line & we can get the dream team back in action!
Have a great weekend!
