All Change…

Well hasn’t 2020 been the whirlwind that no-one was prepared for! I had big plans for DaphneRosa this year including a re-brand, launching a new website, putting new systems in place and a whole heap of new collections… basically putting into action everything that I’ve been working towards and that’s been occupying my brain for the longest time. Fast forward to April and all of sudden I’m 22 weeks pregnant and in the high risk category for a virus which has caused a global pandemic, my little boy can no longer start nursery which was going to enable me to get some serious time on the business before the arrival of no. 2, the hubs is working from home and we can’t see anyone or go anywhere!

Having worked from home for the past few years alongside looking after a small person I felt pretty prepared for what was to come and on the whole we’ve managed to focus on the positives, enjoying more time together as a three, being able to make progress renovating our 100 year old house and actually still being able to action most of those big goals for the business. That’s not to brag in any sense, it’s been tough, we’re missing all of our loved ones like crazy and we’re tired, oh so tired, but we’re just about making it through ok which is about all you can ask for at the moment right?!

So, what’s changed at DaphneRosa… well if you’ve made it here you’ll have noticed that there is a brand spanking new website in town, adorned with some brand spanking new branding to boot! Isn’t it pretty?!

I can’t claim the credit for it though as I have been working with the awesome Cat at TwinPinesCreative who is responsible for all the beauty you see before you and it’s safe to say I couldn’t recommend her more highly if you’re looking for someone to work with on your branding or website design. It’s been a much longer process than I had planned, life seems to have this habit of getting in the way, but Cat has the patience of a saint and I’m so pleased she stuck by me to get to this point. I’m planning to write another post all about my experience in case it is helpful to others, so I’ll save most of the gushing about her for there, but boy am I happy I can finally share it all!

So DaphneRosa version 2.0 is finally live! It has definitely taken far longer than planned for me to get to this point, involved more work than I imagined and has been a huge learning curve, but I honestly couldn’t be more excited to finally have a look that reflects the business and where it’s going and a beautiful new home from which to share it all with you.

So I’d love you to have a good old nosey around at it all. I’m sure there will be things that need tweaking so do let me know if there is anything that doesn’t work for you but I’m all about progress over perfection these days and knew I just needed to get it out there! There is a whole week of offers, goodies and freebies planned for this week so do come and follow on Instagram, if you don’t already, to be the first to know what’s going on.
