3 Uses For The Downloadable Calendar...

As a big planner myself I’ve always used a calendar to plan ahead for the business and at home and it’s always been something I’ve wanted to design myself. Having illustrated the 12 birth flowers for the recent Birth Flower collection it seemed a perfect development to design a calendar using them too.

I knew that I wanted them to be as versatile as possible so decided to design a dated version for 2021 but also an undated version which could be used at any point in the year, for years to come. They both have the same floral design and the same sized boxes to fill in, which have plenty of room for adding all the important information!

I’ve been using the calendar for the last couple of months to test it out and thought I’d share how I’ve been using it. As it is downloadable, to be printed at home, it means you can use it in various ways, as many times as you like. Especially good, if like me, you are bound to make a mistake as soon as you start writing on a nice, clean page!

  1. For the business I’ve used it to plan out key tasks such as order shipping days, planning social media content creation and other key tasks. But I’ve also used it as a content calendar, planning newsletters and blog posts to keep on top of what needs to be completed next.

2. Planning meals is always a weekly chore in our house, working out what to eat, when and what we need to buy. So I tried using the calendar to as a meal planner too and it was super useful. There was even room to write in 3 meals each day if you want to get that detailed. It was also handy to have a record of the meals we had eaten to give us ideas for the next month as we are always lacking in inspiration for the food shop!

3. Lastly I’ve been using the calendar to plan for all the other life stuff too that seems to accumulate so quickly now we have two small people! Keeping a track of pre school days for the biggest, working from home days for hubs and then any play dates or meet ups I can mange for the littlest is definitely a challenge, so it’s been good to have it all written down so we all know what we are doing and when.

I know its not rocket science, I mean we’ve all used a calendar right?! But I just love that because it’s downloadable you can print it as many times as you like, to use for all the different things you need to keep a track of.

Any hoo, let me know if you’ve used yours, I’d love to see and I’ll be back soon on here next week with my last new product launch before Christmas!
